Featuring elegant and easy projects that are sophisticated enough to delight both the novice weaver and expert craftsperson, Time to Weave offers sumptuous pictures and clear, step-by-step instructions for a wide assortment of finished items which could be made either for oneself or as hard-to-part-with gifts.

Jane Patrick begins with a short discussion of weaving basics followed by a quick review of the basic tools required for the projects that follow. Sixteen different craft options ranging from woven mats and rugs to home accessories, woven paper greeting cards to jewelry create the body of the publication. Each chapter starts with a few paragraphs about the author's inspiration, followed by a materials list complete with suggestions where to acquire them, and the anticipated dimensions of the finished item. Instructions on how to work each project with pictorial illustrations illuminating the same make the process of creation seem effortless as well as enjoyable. Chapters are completed with suggestions on how the project could be manipulated and changed to show off the craftsperson's personal interpretation of the same.

This book would be an excellent addition to the library of anyone who ever had a need for fast projects that required little effort but had a big pay-off.
