I'm 8 years old and I love to spin. The way I became interested in spinning was through my mom.

I first learned to spin six months ago at the Fiber Fest in Santa Monica. I made my first CD spindle there and I painted the stick green.

I practiced spinning everyday and I got better and better at it. I really like spinning because it's really neat and fun.

I learned to knit in October 2005. I knitted my first ball of plied wool.

I am spinning wool now for a sweater. The colors of the wool are blue and purple.

I have seven balls of spun wool and six balls of 2-ply yarn made.

Spinning is not just for grown-ups, it's for kids too. They will enjoy it.

I really love spinning and more kids should try it.
