Letters to the Editor

Hi Spindlicity,
I'm a middle school teacher and we have a spinning group. I love your articles written by children. But can I ask that you do not put their full name, school name, and where they live in the article? Safety concerns.

Thanks so much! I love your magazine!!
Mary Dunn

Editor's response: Thank you Mary, those are very valid concerns and Spindlicity is now no longer publishing the last names or school names of our Kidspin authors.

Dear Spindlicity,
In the article you ran about the gal that was a new spinner and had started collecting spindles at Fiber Fairs, she mentioned that the hooks differed for different reasons. I have been unable to find out more on this. Perhaps you could have an article on this bit of wisdom? as well as length of shaft and weights. As a new spinner, wheel first, now spindle, I am devouring every issue of your on-line magazine. Thank you for stepping forward and starting this publication.

Denise/CT

Editor's response: Hi Denise, we hope you enjoy our article "Anatomy of a Spindle" in this issue of Spindlicity.
