Camp Pluckyfluff
Is a magical place
Where you spin, spin, spin,
At your own pace.

Doll heads and ducklings
Make yarn funky
Tinsel and denim
Make yarn chunky.

Sparkles in batts
Make them all shiny
Silver and pink
So pretty and tiny.

All day long
We spun, spun, spun,
Fibers flying
We had lots of fun.

Among the birds
Under the fig
Lexie our teacher
Made our day big!

Joey is a 7 year-old spinner and crocheter who lives in Murrieta, CA. She attended Camp Pluckyfluff in June at Boeger Winery in Placerville along with her mom. Joey enjoyed learning how to card unique batts and spin eclectic, funky, novelty yarns using Lexie Boeger's Pluckyfluff techniques (www.pluckyfluff.com). Some of Joey's crazy batts and yarns may be seen at www.goshyarnit.com When Joey isn't spinning, she is busy homeschooling this year, and is involved with Girl Scouts, Tae Kwon Do, singing and dancing.
